To see but not to be seen
The beauty of hiding is thrilling
The partial hiding is an illusion
The illusion of being seen without
The actual act of showing
The hands hide but
The hands even show
The marital status, the ring
The deep brown eyes
The mystery, does he have hair
The painting cuts his head,
The secret: Is he bald?
The beard, the lips in hiding
The illusion of a portrait
but here without a face
